Psychological Analysis Dyptych

This is my latest and greatest piece of my psycho-analytic dyptych... i loved this assignment and there is SO much symbolism and SO much meaning and enlightenment to who i am as a person that it needs to be displayed to the world... even if you don't know me and see this it's always fun to guess... ENJOY!!!

WINNER!!!... at Art and Soul show

So last minute my former high school art teacher (from my graduating year last semester) sends me a message on facebook saying that i'm able to have my works from this past semester in the Art and Soul teen art show against all the high schools in the essex district (21 schools, all grades!) that took place today. The teen art show section is only a portion of the event. There's music and other professional artists booths surrounding the humungos tent that held all the art so even for a teen show it's a big deal. So, to display, I gave him my Ophelia sculpture piece, my concrete angel painting, 3 photography works and 2 graphic design ones (he didnt have much room for our schools section other wise i would've given more)... so i assembled them yesterday at the show to await the judging of today and successfully snagged the award for Contemporary art for my "Puppet Master" graphic design image :) i'm extremely pleased with recieving an award for this piece because it's truly my favorite thus far :) i'm disappointed my ophelia didn't win in the mixed media category but not much i can do. The piece that won that category was truly fantastic... you can't have them all... but i am glad that i have yet another victory because it's only a push to keep doing what i'm doing and not give up :)

Well i've only been drawing for about 2 and 1/2 years so i do not have that many in my collection. You can probably tell which ones i did in my earlier drawing years vs. my most recent ones. I'm going into university of windsor doing a double major with art and psychology. Every piece i do i seem to improve and grow each time which gets me excited to do more :) Im 18 so i'm still young and have a long ways to go :) but just keep watch and see my collection build especially in the next few months i have some surprises in store;)

I also have alot of my digitally enhanced pictures as well that i've done on photoshop in here mixed in with my art pieces. If you actually go into my gallery i've grouped them into folders so they're easier to go through :) but i love photomanipulation probably just as much as drawing at this point... IT'S SO MUCH FUN! :D i've won a few awards for my digital work and it's def a bordom buster hobby at times and it's something i just love to do as a profession as well... i take some of my grahpic works and also create them into graphic t-shirts and sell them as well :)

I'm into tradtional photography a bit as well that have no manipulations but i have way to many photos that'd i'd want to upload that i'm not even gonna bother haha! 90% my digital works are photos that me or my friends have taken so you have a small taste of what i do in the photo category ahah... mayb one really boring day i'll upload my photography :P enjoy!

P.S... pretty plz with a cherry on top DO NOT... i repeat... DO NOT steal my stuff... i work hard to make a name for myself and dont ruin that by being to lazy to make ur own... thank you
